HARK

Terms of Service

Last updated August 30, 2026.

Hark is operated by Stella Viae LLC ("Company", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your use of Hark, including the web app and the iOS app.

What Hark is

Hark is a personal capture tool. You record, type, or photograph a thought, and Hark transcribes it, organizes it, and stores it in your Construct so you can find it later. Hark is a companion app for the Construct and is designed for individual use.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.

Your notes

Your notes belong to you, and they stay in your own scope: each customer's notes are stored as document files in a repository keyed to that customer. Our systems work with your content only as automated steps in the capture and recall pipeline, no person at Stella Viae reads it, and you can export it whenever you like. Deleting a note removes it from the service, subject to short-lived backups kept for reliability.

AI-assisted output

Hark uses AI models to transcribe recordings, title and file notes, and answer questions about what you have saved. That output can be incomplete or wrong. Review anything important before relying on it.

Availability and data loss

The service is not guaranteed to be free from interruption, corruption, or data loss. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose; the export feature exists for exactly that.

Acceptable use

You may not use Hark for illegal, abusive, infringing, fraudulent, or exploitative activity, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or use it in a way that harms others or the system itself.

Termination

You may stop using Hark at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or if continued access creates security, operational, or legal risk.

Disclaimers and liability

Hark is provided on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stella Viae LLC disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above reflects the current version, and continued use of Hark after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

Unless another written agreement says otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
